Île de France departmental museum of Prehistory

Île-de-France departmental museum of Prehistory, located in Nemours (Seine-et-Marne France), is a regional museum with a regional focus . It presents the prehistory of the Paris basin, from the first vestiges attesting of the presence of Man (about 500 000 years BC.) to the end of the Gallic period (last quarter of the first century BC.). We created 7 touch boxes that allow contact with objects, and Braille and large print explanations.




The boxes are mobile and adjustable in size, allowing access to the greatest number. One of the boxes shows the map of the museum, the 6 others describe the great epochs of prehistory, each box being located in the room of the corresponding period
