On March 19th, as part of the Arrimage N.P.O.'s partnership with the New National Museum of Monaco, and with the support of the Valentin Haüy Association - Nice, we visited the exhibition "The Feeling for Nature: Contemporary Art in the Mirror of Nicolas Poussin" at the Villa Paloma.

Nicolas Poussin (1594-1665) was the first painter to focus not on landscape, but on Nature itself. He did so with an increasingly sensitive lyricism throughout his career. Poussin's influence led a school of thought, and something of this "feeling for Nature" was passed on to subsequent generations, from Gaspard Dughet to Claude-Joseph Vernet.

This audio-described tour was led by Coline Matarazzo, cultural mediator, and Benjamin Laugier, the Museum's public programs manager.

A refreshing exhibition, immersing us in works that celebrate nature!
