On September 22, as part of the partnership between the Arrimage association and the Nouveau Musée National de Monaco—and with the support of the Valentin Haüy Association (Nice chapter)—we visited the exhibition "Victor Brauner: The Magical Adventure" at Villa Paloma.

A major figure of Surrealism, Victor Brauner (1903–1966) created a unique and inventive body of work, drawing inspiration from his Romanian roots, his encounter with André Breton, esotericism, mythology, and non-Western art. The exhibition, on view until January 3, 2027, unveils—for the first time—more than 160 works (paintings, drawings, and sculptures) from a private collection based in Monaco.

For this exhibition, the Arrimage association created tactile adaptations that were used during the visit.

Audio descriptions of the artworks were provided by cultural mediator Coline Matarazzo, with an introduction by exhibition curator Camille Morando, who took the time to welcome us despite a very busy schedule.
