Renowned engraver René David, a world-renowned paleontologist, was able to rediscover the precision and realism of the gesture of these primitive artists, reinterpreted on 14 previously unpublished embossings. The texts are by Annie Échassoux, translated by Catherine Ungar - Attic (English, French, Italian, English Braille, French Braille, Italian Braille, English Audio, French Audio, Italian Audio).
For history buffs who can not reach the site of the Vallée des Merveilles (between 2000 and 2700 meters altitude) the embossings hollow represent the exact image of the original engraving. The opposite side of embossing, in relief, allows the blind to appropriate for themselves the work of their distant ancestors.
The printing of the embossings was conducted under the expert and well-informed eye of Gilbert Fenouille
