On Wednesday, October 25, the filming of a scene from the documentary that director Anne Dorr dedicated to the Goldenberg-Garbowska couple took place in the workshop of our friend Gabriel Martinez.

On this occasion she shooted a photography session of the ‘shadowing’ of a work by Claude Garrandes.

Indeed, for the artist, the most important part of his work, is the drawing created by the shadow of his sculpted piece – hence the principle of ‘metallic coptography’.

Anne Dorr was therefore able to make Frédéric Daudier shoot on film the exchange between Gabriel Martinez and Claude Garrandes on the position of the shadow that the artist wanted – on his new piece created for the occasion: the Torch.

The 26-minute documentary should be visible on France 2 on January 1, 2024.
